This post vibes. I’ve sometimes been the Isolatus thinking I was Nietzsche’s Zarathustra casting linguistic spells at “the rabble” around me. But every now and again I’d meet strangers with that holy light in their eyes that makes it all worthwhile.
I was talking to my coworker. And I saw her come to the same conclusion as me just like how I came to it myself. It was wild I don’t even remember what the thought was. But she was saying why she felt a certain way. It was my thought aloud! Pretty neeto burrito if you ask me.
I think there is a certain degree of not thinking you are extraordinarily special. I mean you don’t have to think of yourself as just the universe’s eye man and the rest is an illusion. But this certain feeling of being better than anyone must be killed before you can ever truly connect with others. Also almost everyone has thought of those basic things
Just wanted to comment that I see a fellow Deleuzian, both below your recent video (on Touch Grass) and on this written piece. Once you hear somebody talk about flows [slightly out-of-context for a normal human] - you know.
Also wanted to say that I've been really enjoying your occasional [free-tier] written pieces - the point-of-view seems a bit less preachy than your usual Youtube content (in which I appreciate the overall flow of thought, but the discourse seems a bit like "talking down"). This writing, being more personal and casual at times, has made it easier for me to consider new ways in which I could write down my own thoughts on philosophy and culture, which I really appreciate.
There is a time to see everyone as a friend, but sometimes that does not cut it. The abolitionists certainly pissed off a lot of people, and they were right to do so. And in the 21st century, we actually are fucking up as badly as if we owned slaves:
Lovely.
Wonderful writing and great points. All of man is my brother but nothing is without strife

This was such an awesome piece of writing, hit hard to the bone!
Mashed potatoes can be your friends

Holy cow, been on a Weird Al kick these past few days and now even you are on it.

They never die, they just go to sleep one day
