On the 12th, I woke up to a friend telling me a CBC reporter wanted to do an interview on my Family Guy video, so I scheduled that. Then had a little cemetery picnic with my friend and filmed a MemeAnalysis on “Touch Grass” (coming soon).
I did the interview and thought about John the Baptist and his diet of locusts and honey.
I spent some time consulting the I Ching, but ended up having a sleepless night.
On the 13th, I worked on translating and felt dreadfully bored.
Here’s a great character from the text:
毒
Poison, made of ‘a woman wearing a feathered ornament’ and the characters for either a woman, or specifically a woman with breasts
and above, the radical “Wand” and “3”. This immediately reminded me of Hamlet: Thou mixture rank, of midnight weeds collected,
With Hecate's ban thrice blasted, thrice infected
The poisonous milk of Hecate.
