Observations:

1. Memetics, or at least in crypto, scales with "mind shares" through Metcalf's Law (the value of mimetics is proportional to the square of the number of participants), Cumulative Value-days Destroyed (CVDD, minimum stored mimetic time value), and Network Value to Transactions Ratio (NVT, mimetic dominance to mimetic frequency).

2. There are certain qualities to NFT that lets it spread fast besides from simplicity, as pure "floating signifier " are inherently weak, but memes with high information are also weak. It is speculated that the quality and complexity of a meme is proportional to its ability to compress meanings into a single signifier. This "Complexodynamics" or "Ergodic Hypothesis" is worth exploring.
