William Blake-Flames of Furious Desires
I wanted to thank you all for your patience as I’ve taken a bit of a hiatus from the frequent video production for my channel. I have been working on a website I feel will be far more compelling than any video could be! I hope you will all stick around for the curiosities that await you.
In the meantime, here’s a bit of poetry:
Excerpt from a Future Age
Even as early as my youth I can remember moving freely. A pleasure I will not feel again. Nor my children. Power, gone mad, spiralling inward forever, spewed out vile contagion so each subject fell with their dread.
Now, years having passed, paranoia as dear as patriotism, we each build vast stores of information. Data. Electronic doubles, who move through virtual ether eager as sylphs while our bodies atrophy.
Every child born hence has been an emotional abortion. Without peer, they become little adults without passage through the garden of youth.
To what end? A virtual reality? One that will fall away just as easily when new powers strip away the pretense and exterminate themselves?
The Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, made by men who still believe humans are demons and the soil is pestilence. We are tortured in the paradise of our own design.
