I do not wish to be horny anymore Meme Analysis
I do not wish to be horny anymore,
I just want to be happy.
Why is horniness opposed to happiness? To grasp this misunderstanding we have to look at exactly what “Sexuality” means to a modern person, and why it could lead them to a disillusionment with the whole thing.
For many young people today, sexuality has become something alien.
While it has always started out as an unknown, gleaned through accidents and unconscious behaviours. Today sexuality is learned about through hypersexualized media.
Cartoons created by perverse animators, live action shows by real abusers.
Take a step back, and look at the generation who grew up on Nickelodeon shows produced by Dan Schneider, a noted pervert, and consider what effect they had on our sexuality.
I have always told you of the virtues of sexuality, and sexual freedom, and how it becomes perverse through endless media distortions and internalizations. The lingering residue of media has become gunk in our biological machinery. The pornography of today is more akin to the flash media we grew up with than it is the playboy magazine of a previous generation. The same strange ideas flourish here. And as memes show, porn websites function as social media for many users, it’s more than a simply release valve for libido, it’s an activity in itself.
In the past few GF videos I gave examples of this theory, in how cartoons shaped memetic desires.
How then do we understand a memetic *lack* of desire?
Like many socially reactionary standpoints, this meme begins with a very clear kernel of truth, modern sexuality has some major problems. But why is the next step to look to your fellow human, blame them, and repress your vitality? This is an age old response to the vices that arise in a culture that mistreats sexuality.
It’s what Nietzsche describes as the Ascetic repression of instinct, the instincts that must express themselves are turned inward, where they form increasingly more bizarre delusions and ideas. This is clear in those who today repress their libidos, and reap the crops of isolation and digital delusion.
Cut due to YT meddling:
(Perhaps the key element here can be seen in the Steinbeck’s the Grapes of Wrath. Where Muley is told that his farm is being taken by a driver:

It’s this pondering of who to shoot, that in the despair of nihilism makes one lash out against life itself. )
When very online guys blame women for their sexual woes they are shooting the messenger. This meme reflects this sentiment. The idea that true happiness must overcome sexuality, when in fact, libido is the real thing, all happiness an expression of this energy. To be fully human, you must have a healthy sexuality.
So here we are left with a sexuality twisted by media and pornogrpahy, where men and women lash out at one another as if either carried the responsibility of the others misery. There is no happiness to be found in this.
The turn toward traditional religions that promote a denial of sex is even more ridiculous. In the great little 70’s song Put the Lime in the Coconut, a doctor tells a person with a bellyache to drink more of what gave him the bellyache, on and on, literally ad nauseum.
It’s the sexually repressive religions of the past that built up a perverse unconscious, that is now making itself manifest in media and culture. This is not primary sexuality, but a secondary product of repression.
So just repressing your instincts and becoming tradcath simply pushes you further toward deviant madness.
What then? Dance. Love. Reality. Remove the digital veils placed on you, and see the world, and it’s wondrous inhabitants clearly.
The misogyny fostered by internet usage is not a bug, it’s a feature. It’s the venom of the Digital Anima, just like insects who become infected with a parasite begin putting themselves in danger and going against their instincts. When young men despise women, they are softening themselves, and letting themselves be further entrapped within the spiders web. Reality is the only way out. To hate your true anima, is to hate the archetype of life itself.
Happiness and horniness are compatible, they were in ancient cultures, and they certainly are today. The problems lay in the cultural unconscious, which seeks to repress and harvest that lost libido for its own purposes. Churches need repressed followers, to maintain devotion. Governments need puritans, to ensure the majority of libido is directed nationally. And now, the Internet needs you to choose it over reality.
Memes are not intentionally meaningful, anyone can make a meme.
In nearly all of my videos I have built my analyses upon the concept of the Unconscious, and yet, it seems as if I have never really provided a solid definition of this thing, I have illustrated it through the analyses themselves, how parts of the mind that are not able to be expressed make themselves known through memes and desires, but even them, it’s a very difficult concept. To grasp the unconscious, and to understand why you simply can’t choose to not be horny, I will provide the ultimate, succinct definition of the Unconscious, from Friedrich Nietzsche:
All instincts which are not discharged outwardly turn inwards – this is what I call the internalization of man: with it there now evolves in man what will later be called his ‘soul’. The whole inner world, originally stretched thinly as though between two layers of skin, was expanded and extended itself and gained depth, breadth and height in proportion to the degree that the external discharge of man’s instincts was obstructed. Those terrible bulwarks with which state organizations protected themselves against the old instincts of freedom – punishments are a primary instance of this kind of bulkwark – had the result that all those instincts of the wild, free, roving man were turned backwards, against man himself. Animosity, cruelty, the pleasure of pursuing, raiding, changing and destroying – all this was pitted against the person who had such instincts: that is the origin of ‘bad conscience’. Lacking external enemies and obstacles, and forced into the oppressive narrowness and conformity of custom, man impatiently ripped himself apart, persecuted himself, gnawed at himself, gave himself no peace and abused himself, this animal who battered himself raw on the bars of his cage and who is supposed to be ‘tamed’; man, full of emptiness and torn apart with homesickness for the desert, has had to create from within himself an adventure, a torture-chamber, an unsafe and hazardous wilderness – this fool, this prisoner consumed with longing and despair, became the inventor of ‘bad conscience’
While this is an illustration of the evolution of man’s consciousness, I’m sure every one of you relates to this. We all begin our lives these wild and free children, and our upbringings seek to turn that desire inward. We are forced to sit still for extended periods, to content ourselves with very little of interest. And now, through media, we have lost some of the last refuges of this instinctual freedom. Rather than socializing and performance, video games have taken on the last violent urges left, and pornography has sapped the last of our sexual desires. Technology is, as I’ve said before, a Hole made for You. And it’s aim is to receive everything you have.
I have said this many times. And one of the common responses still makes me laugh, annoyed at my still upholding material reality, I know, an obsolete thing! They say the digital is more real, and that living within it is true freedom. Freedom from the body.
These are what Nietzsche referred to as the “Despisers of the Body” who are no longer able to create, they despise life and reality. And like the fox who lost his tail, wants all the others to cut theirs off as well. Theirs is the morality that despises the body’s lust. I am horny, and I am happy. Remember, memes matter.
